Introducing Quicklink!
Hi there, I am Logan and I am building Quicklink, the One place for all climbing reports.
An Idea
The idea of Quicklink is simple: a platform that connects climbers and crag maintainers, making climbing safer.
Quicklink would allow anyone to easily report and find information about outdoor climbing reports, here in Belgium or anywhere else, in a single place.
Problems to solve
-
Information is scattered
- Today, each climbing association or federation has its own website or social media platform that it uses to publish information or updates about its crags.
- The information is scattered and it’s complicated for climbers to find relevant information about different places (different websites different languages, …).
- With Quicklink, you have a centralized place for all climbing reports, directly translated into your language.
-
One-way communication
- When a report has been submitted to a climbing federation, only the federation knows about it, and nobody else.
- With Quicklink, each report (and the federation’s response) is directly visible to everyone (other climbers or federations).
- You can also easily react to a report, which helps maintainers know which issues are most important.
-
Personalized view on reports
- Climbers can save their favourite crags, sectors or routes.
- This way, they immediately see if there are any reports on their favourite locations.
-
Clear overview for maintainers
- Maintainers have an overview of all reports on their crags.
- Maintainers can easily and quickly share updates (like a route closure).
- Maintainers can reply to climbing reports publicly.
